Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 rental in Oman — roof tent included, from OMR 55/day

The Pajero (and its newer twin, the Montero) is the car we run because it does everything an Oman road trip asks: wadi tracks, the Jebel Shams gravel road and the Wahiba dunes. Two adults are asleep on the roof by nine. Automatic, low range, full tank, tent and kit fitted before you arrive.

Pajero specs and what it can do

Both models are Mitsubishi's full-size body-on-frame 4x4 with Super Select 4WD, a dial with three settings. 2H is for tarmac, 4H for gravel and wadi beds, and 4L (low range) with the centre diff locked for dunes and steep climbs. Enough for every route in our road trip itineraries.

Where it goes

Without the tent, or for a group

Hotel-based trip or a business run? The same car is OMR 45 a day as a 4x4 rental without the roof tent. Booking for a group or clients? Group and travel-agent bookings take up to the whole fleet. All prices and packages are also on the homepage.
