Privacy policy

We collect what the depot needs to hand you the keys and what the law needs us to keep. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared for marketing. The rental itself is governed by the rental terms.

1. What we collect

   Reservation request: names, email, phone number, country and date of birth of the drivers, licence details shown at the depot.

   Payment: the rental is paid at the depot on collection — by a payment link we send, by card, or by cash. We do not take or store card details online.
3. 1.3
   Website: server logs and privacy-respecting analytics without cross-site tracking. No advertising cookies.

2. Why

   To perform the rental contract, verify drivers and contact you about your request and pickup.

   To meet Omani car-rental and tax record-keeping requirements.
3. 2.3
   To send the confirmation, wadi guide and pickup reminder by email.

3. Who processes it

   Our reservation system hosted with our group company in the UAE, and our email provider. Each acts under a data-processing agreement.
2. 3.2
   Only if you accept cookies: Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (Pixel and ads) and Microsoft (Clarity), as described in section 5.

4. Retention and your rights

   Booking records are kept for the period required by Omani law (currently 10 years for financial records) and deleted afterwards. You can ask what we hold, correct it, or ask for deletion where the law allows, by emailing [email protected]. EU/UK residents have the rights set out in the GDPR / UK GDPR; we act as controller.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

   With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to measure visits and the performance of our ads, the Meta Pixel to measure our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads, and Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps. These tools set cookies and receive technical data such as pages viewed, device and browser, approximate location, IP address, and the fact that a request was sent. They do not receive what you type into our forms.

   Nothing is loaded until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
3. 5.3
   When you arrive we note the campaign details in the link you clicked (for example utm_source or an advertising click ID) and the website you came from, and send them with your request so we know which advertisement or site brought you. They are kept in your browser for the visit; if you accept cookies they are kept for up to 90 days. If you reject cookies, nothing is kept after you close the tab.
